Italian Street Party 2019

Mamma Mia!!!   A Street Party in Wood and Victoria Streets, in the heart of the CBD, Mackay.   3pm to 9pm.  Two stages with continuous entertainment.     Multicultural food vendors.     Children's fun centres.    Dance to the music.  Static displays.  

Italian Trivia Night

( Now not on the Italian Assn calendar for 2018 or 2019)

The Book workshops are held every Tuesday. You can contribute to a dedicated team to help in the creation of the Mackay and Districts' Italian migration story.

The Association has monthly meetings to discuss and coordinate events and other matters.  Currently held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3pm.  Held in the Shakespeare Child & Family Centre on 43 Shakespeare St, East Mackay.

 

MaCheDici?!? is the popular Italian-English radio show hosted by Diego Saglia and Luana Giordano on 4CRM Community radio in Mackay, QLD, Australia.    Saturdays 11am - 12MD

Wanna brush up on your Italian? or maybe catch up with friends over a drink or two after work? or meet new people over a cuppa?

You can do all that and more, every 2nd Friday of the month.

Enjoy the pleasant evenings, from 5:30pm at the Italian Chat & Coffee Group get-together at Coco Cubano Cafe, Wood St.

Bring your family and mates along...see you all there!   Have a social drink and buy some food.  Enjoy!!

The Association have traditionally held two major lunches a year.   The first of 2018 has been held at Rydges Function room.   The 2nd lunch for 2018 is in the planning.

Italian Republic day

Enjoy company and lunch at Mulherin park.  10am - 3pm.  Bring own lunch or buy food from the restaurants.  Bring your Bocce balls for a competitive game on the grass.

Italian Sausage Tasting Competition

The M&DIAI hosts an Italian Sausage Tasting Competition.  The next event is August 2019.

Our Association partners with local festivals.  Traditionally the group have attended the Greenmount Heritage Festival, Global Grooves and the Arts Festival Food Day.
