For a Better Life

Sunday 25 November, 2018 marked the official launch of our book 'For a Better Life'. Approximately 400 people attended the event, traveling from all over Australia and even from the United States!

The book contains stories about the history of Italian migration and settlement in the Mackay district, documenting the integration of Italian migrants and their families into the wider community and highlighting their contribution to the region.
