Mackay and District Italian Association Incorporated

The next Italian Republic Day, also known as Festa della Repubblica in Italian, is a national holiday in Italy on 2 June 2024.

 

It celebrates the day when Italians voted to abolish the monarchy in 1946 so their country could become a republic.

 

In past the Association has had an event to celebrate the occasion.  The 2024 event is still in the planning stage so watch this space and the Facebook page to find out what is happening.
